SEARCH OPTIONS

You'd like a SEARCH box on your web site? We can help!

A quick and easy way to put a search box on your web site is to use Google search.

A Google Search on your web site would look something like this - notice that the default it to search YOUR site (in this case nepork.org)

Google
WWW nepork.org
OR we can add a plain Google Search to your web site - this searches all of Google.
Google

If a Google search doesn't fit your needs - it does show ads and does take your site visitors off your site potentially - there are other options.

If the information on your site is in a database and hosted at VoyageurWeb, we can easily add a search box to your web site. If you update that same information with a passworded web page (/admin), then it's likely in a database. To see an example of a searchable database, click this link: http://learningzonexpress.com

Another option is an indexer. An indexer creates a database out of your whole website and updates every night in case something was changed on your site. This indexer indexes several websites, but we can easily set one up for just one site. To see an example of an indexer, click this link: http://www.co.blue-earth.mn.us
