PREFERRED FILE FORMATS
File Naming
- Please use applicable extensions for all graphic files. (some are noted below) They can be important to interpretation and opening of the files on certain platforms and certain software. Failure to list extensions will require project time to determine format.
- Avoid spaces in file names. We use a number of different platforms and media and some of them do not allow spaces.
Disk Formats
Please specify the platform, software version number and contents on the disk or case
- Digital media card (USB Flash Card, SD Card, Compact Flash)

- 3.5” floppy (win, Mac)
File Formats
Text:
- Microsoft Word (.doc)
- Rich Text format (.rtf)
- Text-only format (.txt)
Photos/Graphics/Logos:
High quality graphics and Vector graphics are preferred. Low quality graphics may prevent us from generating good results (keeping in mind the old computer adage: “garbage in, garbage out”). Send low quality graphics only when no other is available or when the graphics were previously generated for a web site and no changes are needed by our graphics personnel.
